Understanding the Difference: Local vs. Imported
Both options have their own unique beauty, and understanding them helps you choose the perfect arrangement:
- Our Local Selection: Sourced directly from Interior Sindh, Punjab, and KPK, our local varieties include motia (jasmine), tuberoses, cut roses, sunflowers, and chrysanthemums. Local flowers like motia and tuberoses are famous for their rich, natural fragrance. However, local roses have smaller buds and a shorter lifespan. Because summer heat affects their quality, we only stock local red and pink roses during the winter. A few products on our website use these like FW Classic boxes and it’s always mentioned in the description.
- Our Imported Selection: For ultimate luxury, we bring in imported flowers, premium Kenyan roses, lilies, and gypsophila (baby’s breath) from Kenya and Malaysia. Imported roses boast much larger buds, longer sturdy stems, and a longer vase life, though they lack a scent. They are available in flawless quality all year round. This is what almost 95% of our products use. This is the rule, not the exception therefore it is not mentioned in each description.
The Chrysanthemum Exception: Interestingly, local and imported chrysanthemums look almost identical, especially in the winter, and cost roughly the same.
